Powder coated bullets have been around over a decade and since have been used primarily in the competition shooting world. The cast lead bullets are tumbled in the powder coating and then baked on. This coating takes the place of the more costly copper jacket and as a result makes for a less expensive round. Powder coated rounds are accepted at all indoor ranges and they do not produce fouling in the barrel.
We have run over 10,000 rounds of these in our guns and have been very happy with their performance.
